ABOUT

Jamie Crolle
I relocated to Chautauqua County with my husband and two children in 2017. Since then, I have been searching for the right opportunity to do meaningful work that fuels my soul and benefits the community.
I have been humbled by my past experiences as a parent educator, home visitor, and infant caregiver. I have been fortunate to be welcomed into the homes of so many loving families, some of whom patiently supported me in learning Spanish as a second language!
I have learned that children and families are the best teachers, and often intuit what is best for them and what will best meet their needs. I believe that acceptance, warmth, and non judgment are the most important factors in building relationships. My DONA birth doula training prepared me to offer inclusive, supportive, and non judgmental labor support.
I am passionate about fostering families and empowering other women. I believe pregnancy and the birth experience are opportunities to build confidence and that these experiences can deeply impact a woman's self concept.
The magical moments of bonding in the early weeks are building the foundation for trusting relationships that last a lifetime, and a woman who feels supported and well can better focus on her infant and this bonding process. Why not enlist support, mother the mothers, nurture the relationships that families are built upon from the start?
I believe this service has the power to positively effect relationships, promote wellbeing, and build a healthier community. I hope you will allow me to be a part of your journey.
So why name this offering Good Tidings? We receive many cultural messages that we are not good enough in many aspects of being. My message for my community...you are respected and cared for as individuals. Your bodies and minds are powerful! You are capable of doing the difficult and fulfilling work of birthing and parenting with intention!
Good Tidings, friends!
